Introduction

For the student seeking a unique study abroad site in Greece, the American College of Thessaloniki is ideal. Thessaloniki is the ‘road less taken’, a culturally intact city, small, diverse, youthful, at the crossroads of east and west and the gateway to Southeastern Europe.

Participants on this program choose one or two 3-credit course from a variety of subjects. Most classes are English-taught. Nursing students hoping to fulfill their Nutrition course requirement should enroll in Nutrition 130: Fundamentals of Human Nutrition. Interested Nursing students should also have a 3.0 minimum GPA.
  

Housing Accommodation & Meals

The  American  College  of  Thessaloniki  provides  off-campus  accommodation  in  downtown  Thessaloniki,  close  to  the  heart  of  the  city  center and a short ride away from the ACT campus. Studios are furnished  (including  beds,  table,  stove,  sink,  refrigerator,  and  private  bath).  Students  supply  their  own  linens  and  kitchenware.  Students  may  apply  for  a  single  or  double  studio.  Priority  is  given  based  on  the  date  of  deposit.  Off-campus  housing  locations  are  well  served  by the city’s reliable bus system with buses running at 10-15 minute intervals. In addition, the college provides a basic, private shuttle bus service to and from campus.
