Introduction
Founded in 1875, Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP) is the inheritor of the Medieval Liberal Art College and the Sorbonne, the oldest academic institution in France. It is centrally located in "The City of Lights", having been built upon the site of an old Carmelite convent from the 17th century. ICP is a place of serenity and history, a unique environment conducive to study, research and campus life. This study abroad option is perfect for students seeking to improve their French.
Academics & Curriculum
Full course load = 24 ECT per semester (Students may not take less than this)
ICP courses are offered in ECT. American students typically enroll in 24 ECT worth of courses to earn 15 CUA credits. Students need at least 5 ECT in any given subject to fulfill a required course at Catholic University. A full list of courses

Accommodation & Meals
Participants on this program live in furnished apartments offered through an independent housing provider. Apartments are studios with a bathroom and small kitchenette, while the building also features common areas for socializing. Apartments are located approximately 30 to 45 minutes by public transit from campus. Students should plan ahead for their commutes to class - this is a great time to get some reading done or catch a glimpse of a different part of the city.
All students have access to the on-campus student cafeteria for a quick snack or to a food truck inside the campus.
